462 pass real estate brokers board exam

A total of 462 out of 1,105 test-takers, or 41.81 percent, passed the Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination given by the Board of Examiners for Real Estate Brokers, the Department of Trade and Industry announced Wednesday.

The exams were conducted on May 25 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

REALTORS® GOLF CHALLENGE 2008

Dear PAREB Golfers,

We would like to invite you to the PAREB GOLF CHALLENGE (2008) on June 6, 2008 at the Villamor Golf and Country Club, Pasay City. We encourage each Board to assemble a team of 3-4 golfers. (Note: You can also invite guests to play in our tournament.) Ticket Price is P1,800.00 (inclusive of green fee, caddies fee, lunch, giveaways and raffle prizes). Attached are the RULES for the tournament.

The following are the local boards who have confirmed joining the tournament- PMRB, PLAREB, SAN JUAN, MUNTINLUPA and MANILA BOARD.

CRESAR, membership in association now mandatory

DTI Administrative Order No. 07, dated Dec. 21, 2007 , is now in effect. It requires all applicants for the licensure examination as real estate brokers, appraisers, and consultants to submit a certificate of attendance in a Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar conducted by a service provider duly accredited with the DTI.

"A GLIMPSE OF REAL ESTATE" - In the Life After

ImageGuess who were the first real estate practitioners after the earth was created? Adam and Eve--- when God Blessed them and said (in Genesis 1:28) “Be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it…” Adam and Eve obviously did not made good in subduing the land. Unfortunately, they were evicted from paradise. God was not content with man because every inclination of his heart was evil so He sent a catastrophic flood, saved for Noah who should have been the next great real estate man when God blessed him and his sons saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth (Genesis 9:1). But he became drunk that led to the ruin of his blessed descendants. I believe the greatest real estate success story was that of Joshua and Caleb when they were led into the promised land – “flowing with milk and honey” – to take and possess it. Moses though was able to get a pretty good view of that land.
