The 1st MLS Congress held at Ruby Room of Max Restaurant, Scout Tuazon St. Quezon City was a steaming success as attendees to the said Congress complaint the insufficient air conditioning of the venue. Its because the venue is good only from 150 to 180 persons while total attendees numbers 250.
Despite the inconvenience, the 1st MLS Congress for 2009 received a positive remarks from members.

Realtors Forum was included in the program. Panelist were Atty. Ariel Martinez for Grievance and Arbitration; IPP Daisy Kokseng for RESCOP & DTI matters and PAREB Chairman Atty. Gil Mamaril for Code of Ethics and Standard of Practice.
The MLS proper was ably handled by Director Ferdie Macabuhay while Frank Resulta of MBR managed a simple MLS game for interactions with fellow REALTORS®.
Raffle prizes were donated by the host boards and a special prize of P 5,000.00 cash was donated by PAREB Pres. Ed Aceron.

Hosted by 3 Local Boards, Manila Board of REALTORS®, Quezon City REALTORS® Board and Rizal Board of REALTORS®, attendees totaled 229 where QCRB topped the list with 51 attendees followed by Manila Board with 29 and Rizal Board with 28. Other attendees were from PMRB (17), SJBR (17), PRB (14), CSFRB (13), MVRB (13), LCQRB (08), CLRB (07), PLAREB (07), MANAREB (06), CRB (04), ACRB (003), MEXREB (03), MUNREB (03), BRB (02), RBLC (02), IRB (01), CEREB (01).
