The recently concluded National Convention has prove to be quite unique for many reasons. The General Elections are but one aspect that has made this year’s convention very interesting and exhilarating. After all, it has been 9 years since PAREB members have had the experience of casting ballots in an election. I begin to ponder whether fellow REALTORS® have become complacent all these years. And why do we find ourselves in a long drawn out election that lasted five hours?

It has been two years.
DTI Region 10 had decided twenty-five (25) administrative cases in favor to PAREB-NOMIREB against the colorum realty practitioners . . . .
In support to DTI’s mandate to implement the Brokerage Law, the Philippine Association of Realtors Boards (PAREB), Inc. launched the national campaign for the Colorum Brokers and Agents during the National Convention held on October 2005 at Cagayan De Oro City. The call garnered possible response from the members whereby the Local Constituent Member Boards manifested support and showed aggressiveness over the campaign.
